How do I reserve a puppy?

First, please check to see if the puppy you are interested in is still available, and then fill out the application on my website.

 

A deposit is required to hold the puppy of your choosing.  Please be aware that I will not hold a puppy without a deposit, unless we have discussed and agreed otherwise.  Please do not send a deposit, without contacting me to be sure the puppy is still available, and to be sure you and the puppy are a good match.

Deposits are non-refundable AND non-transferable.  If something happens to the puppy in my care, the deposit will be transferred to another puppy of your choosing, or I will refund the deposit on that puppy.

Deposits can be made via Zelle, Venmo, Cash app, or PayPal friends and family.  Any other way, we would need to discuss.is

Deposits are $200 on puppies priced at $1000 or less, and $300 on puppies priced over $1000.

When is final balance due?

 

Final balance of the puppy is due at delivery of puppy(if my son, Adam is bringing the puppy).  Or, when we meet up in Jasper, if I am bringing the puppy to you, to meet in Jasper.  Unless something changes, I only meet at Love's Travel Plaza in Jasper, Mo.  It is located at the Jasper, Mo. exit.

I am in another state, do you offer shipping?

No, I do not offer any other type of shipping, other than my son Adam, flying or driving to meet you, or myself meeting you at the Love's at the Jasper, Mo. exit.​

You may also fly into several different airports(MCI, SGF, TUL, or XNA) and pick up the puppy yourself.  In this case Adam has various fees to meet you at the designated airport, and we would need to get the puppy a valid health certificate prior to flying.

On other deliveries, Adam does get $1 a mile, one way, up toe 450 miles($450).  After that, he gets an additional $100 for a motel fee, as it is too far to drive over the total of 900 miles in one day.  So, it would be mileage, plus motel fee of $100.  Airport charges are done differently, and an additional $25 is added to the mileage, due to timing of delivery, etc.  Adam is a full time college student, but we work around his schedule of Monday-Thursday, him being off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  That is for the spring semester of 2025.  It varies from semester to semester.

A little information about Adam.  He is my youngest son, 24 years of age.  He started delivering for me, approximately 5 years ago, at the start of Covid, when it was no longer feasible to try to ship our puppies.  I truly disliked shipping the puppies very much, anyway.  Adam has probably logged close to 150,000 miles, not counting the flying miles, to deliver our puppies.  All have been delivered safe and sound, and he has also delivered some puppies for my daughter, too.  Other than that, it is just delivering for the two of us, so he doesn't take on anyone else's puppies, and therefore, the puppies are not exposed to other people's puppies, that we know nothing about.  My only reports about Adam and his delivery service, have been excellent.  Just a little bit of reassurance, that your puppy would be in excellent hands, and he also rarely stops, except to get fuel, never leaving the babies in the car, for any kind of extended period.
